This is an excellent conditioned unissued frosted finished hat eagle that was employed by police officers in the early days of the Third Reich.

The design consists of an oval wreath with a separate eagle attached to the front. The back of the wreath has a pair of thick pins which are used to secure the eagle to the hat. No markings are visible.  read more
