Czech Sword bayonet (VZ-23 Export) Persian M1898/ 29
A very nice Czech VZ-23 (Persian 98/29) Long Bayonet made for the Persian Military. These Czech manufactured bayonets were made for the 8mm Mauser M1898/29 rifles in the early 1930's. The scabbard is of blued sheet-rolled-steel with a French-style frog loop rather.
