The commandor of the regiment was Oberst Hans Roth 1939 - 1940

The shooting holes are marked with then name of the shooter. On the middle bottom is the Oberst Roth's shot. As one can see only officers were participating and two civilians.

On November 3, 1939, the regiment was moved to Poznan (Posen) to the Wehrkreis XXI. The infantry replacement regiment 33 was subordinate to the Division 172 from November 7, 1939. On August 13, 1940, the staff was moved back to the military district XII in Darmstadt.
