In a very good condition a Italian-German campaign medal for Africa (Silver)

This is a late war variant which were made in Italy from war metal and were made with a silver finish. This can also be observed by the maker marking Loriolo from Milano. The designer marking below the crocodile "De Marchis"

Frontside: Marked both with the Italian and German symbols. Italienisch deutscher Feldzug in Afrika - Campagna italo-tedesca Africa.

Backside: Two closely sided men in gladiator armor
On the shoulder, elbows, knees and calves.
On the head 2 different helmets, left German, on the right Italian. These in the form of the steel helmets as a symbol of the countries. A crocodile with spread out front feet from below. This is fought by the men with their hands on the closed mouth.
The men stand on both sides with one leg on the front feet. The crocodile as a symbol of the British.
