In an excellent condition a 21st district gymnastics festival of turn district Nordwes Bohemia.
Nordwestböhmen was in 1909 part of the Austro-Hungarian empire, during the 3rd Reich this was part of the contested Sudetenland which was and is again part of the Czech republic. Aussig is nowadays called Ústí nad Labem.
Frontside: ribbon with string attached to the badge. Aussig 10.-12.juli 1909, a panorama of Aussig. The turnerkreuz with slogan "Gut-Heil. 21. Gauturnfest des Nordwestböhmen Turngaues.
Backside: Safety pin on the ribbon. Maker marked Vereins und Festabzeichen Erzeugung C. Ambrock from Töplitz. Töplitz is nowadays called Toplița which was also part of Austro-Hungaria but now part of Rumenia.
