In an excellent condition a silver Vogelkönig shooting award (938)
A Vogelköning (or bird king) is a honorary title that one could have for the year. The shooting association have yearly events where one would showed their shooting skills and have to shoote a makeshift bird from a large 29 meter high pole. The one with the most points or shooting the last part of the bird down becomes the king or in this case the "bird king". Whomever shoots the left wing becomes the 2nd knight and the right wing becomes the 1st knight.
Frontside: Crossl shaped medal with eagles all between the cross. The cross it self is decorated with oak leaves and in the middle the word "Vogelkönig".
Backside: Fr. Schutzer (Sch.) C. Hindenburg was the winner in 1936. Silver hallmark 935 which means it had a silver content of 93.5 %
