The Wehrmacht Grenz-Infanterie Regiment 127 was in Zweibrücken stationed from 1938 as a border regiment. The Königlich Bayerisches 22. Infanterie-Regiment „Fürst Wilhelm von Hohenzollern“ was also stationed in Zweibrücken before WWI.

The badge is about the reunion between the two regiments in 1958 in Zweibrücken.
