In an excellent condition a Swiss cyclist bayonet Model 1889/92 with frog
The bayonet comes with a leather scabbard and frog. The ball of the scabbard is metal. The bayonet is numbered 3205 and should be the same number as the rifle.
The scabbard is maker and date marked. 1906, F. Dennlert from Bern

Most stab bayonets were withdrawn in the 1920s (rumored to have violated the Geneva Convention) and replaced with dagger bayonets.
The square thrust bayonet Mod. 1889/92 was produced in two versions (muzzle hole diameter for the barrel); once for the long rifle barrels with approx. 15mm and once for the carbine barrels with approx. 14mm.
These bayonets have different names but they are all the same bayonet.

These were manufactured by converting an older 1863 or 1871 Vetterli socket bayonet: the socket was removed and a new crosspiece and grip with lock was welded on. Includes scabbard
