3rd Reich Werk Höchst - IG Farbenindustrie AG 1938 Porzellan Plakette
In an excellent condition a porcelain plaque factory Höchst from IG Farbenindustrie A.G.
Frontside: a couple with a torch accending together on a pedestal.
The factory in Höchst was founded in 1863 and this plaque celebrates the 75 years jubilee of the factory from IG Farbenindustrie AG (Painting industry) At the bottom there is a lion with the letters MLB which stands for Meister Lucius & Brüning which was a subsidiary of IG Farbenindustrie. After the war these companies were broken up by the allies and continued as two seperate companies, where the MLB continued the factory in Höchst.
Backside: wire loop for wall mount. Marking of the maker "Scepter mark" of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory from Berlin (Königlichen Porzellan Manufaktur Berlin)
Width is 15 cm and weighs about 400 grams.
