Bayern Königreich Veteranendenkzeichen für die Feldzüge 1790 – 1812
In an excellent condition a Bavarian Kingdom a Veteran memorial medal for the campaigns 1790 - 1812
New ribbon.
The veteran cross was donated by King Maximilian II on June 30, 1848 for the fighters of the campaigns from 1790 to 1812. As well as for the continuation of the fighting against Russia until after the Battle of Leipzig on October 18, 1813. This included all military personnel who were in the "fighting position" of the Bavarian army from the 1790s to 1812 and who could also prove this. Soldiers from other German states who had taken part in the campaigns in the Bavarian army during this time also received the veteran's memorial. Likewise, military officials in the service of the field army could receive the memorial. The veteran's plaque was non-returnable. Lost badges of honor were not replaced. However, the procurement of replacement pieces and probably also duplicate pieces was permitted. There are pieces with green embedded cross arms and gilding on the cross arm edges and raised writing or medallions. These are private upgrades and do not correspond to the original foundation.
