Frontside: Fire-gilded medal with the arms of the Bulgarian state. underlaid by two diagonally crossed swords pointing upwards. The symbol is surrounded by two branches of laurel or oak leaves that are crossed at the bottom

Backside: Year of the war or 1915 - / 1918. The years are surrounded by two branches crossed at the bottom, which first consist of rose branches, then oak leaf branches and end in ears of corn.
