Background information:

After the NSDAP and SA were banned as a result of the failed Hitler putsch of November 8th and 9th, 1923, the National Socialists embarked on a course of legality after their re-establishment in 1925 and thus initially no longer had a need for public demonstrations of paramilitary strength, the German days lost after 1923, albeit they still took place sporadically, in importance for the political development in the German Reich.
