Hungary Southland remembrance medal 1941
In an excellent condition a Magyar Délvidéki Emlékérem
Ribbon looks to be older then the medal. I cannot place it.
Frontside: A matte metallic gray alloy pewter medal, there is an image of János Hunyadi horseman "Győző Nándorfehérvári", with an inscription next to it János Hunyadi. The circular inscription on it is "In memory of the reconquest of the Hungarian Southland".
Backside: A triangular shield crowned on the back there is a Hungarian small coat of arms, below it on a triangular shield tilted to the left is the Hunyadi coat of arms and on a triangular shield tilted to the right is the Horthy coat of arms. The large circular inscription on the coin bears the commendation "In the XXII year of the governorship of Miklós Horthy of Vitéz Baia Mare, 1941".
