The Anti-Aircraft Command Ostfriesland was a brigade-level command post of the Luftwaffe during World War II. It was set up on October 29, 1940 by converting the regimental staff of Flak Regiment 26. Tactically, the anti-aircraft command was subordinate to the air district command XI Hanover, with the anti-aircraft command being responsible for the operational management of the anti-aircraft formations stationed in this area. Their primary task was the air defense of the air bases in East Friesland against British air raids. This also included the anti-aircraft units on the East Frisian Islands. Sole commander was Colonel Hans-Jürgen von Witzendorff with command post in Bremen. At the end of June 1940, he was responsible for the following anti-aircraft forces:
