Schweizer Säbel für höhere Unteroffizier Ord. 1883

In an almost mint condition a Swiss sabre for higher NCO ranks ‎Ordonnance‎ 1883

‎This weapon was introduced as an order by Federal Council decree of 4 May 1883. It was worn by Feldweibel (Field Usher) of the fusiliers, hunters and shooters (worn from 1826 to 1898).‎

It is a sabre for higher non-commissioned officers model 1883 from the Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. It has a scabbard with the Model 1922, stiff, natural brown leather, iron sheet set

The sabre comes with original portepee and frog. Maker marked Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, Swiss cross on the ricasso and numberd 10044.
