Swiss Pioneer sawback bayonet M1914
In a very good condition a Swiss Pioneer bayonet M1914
A very nice Swiss bayonet M1914 made by the Waffenfabrik in Neuhausen
It has a very nice blade with a double toothed saw back and a fals edged spear point
The cross-guard is numbered 650282 and the ricasso has the makers mark. The cross-guard has on the bottom a Swiss cross marking and a circle.
The scabbard has been blued, the top part has been most likely in a bayonet frog, hence the discoloration. The ball of the scabbard has the Swiss cross. The mouth is marked on the top and side with the Curly scriptes P which stands for the maker E. Paillard & Cie
Swiss blade and scabbard makers for the model 1914 was never the same company.

Overall length 61 cm
As with other Swiss bayonets they were only given to the military with a matching numbered rifle.
