Backside: Maker marked Oertel Berlin. The maker is Otto Oertel who made medals and coins. This places this badge end 19th century or begin 20th century.

The Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (DLG) was founded on December 11, 1885 by the agricultural engineer Max Eyth together with the farmer and politician Adolf Kiepert in the English House on Berlin's Mohrenstrasse. Adolf Kiepert became the company's first CEO. From 1902 the headquarters of the association was located near the government district. In 1934, the DLG was dissolved and incorporated into the Reichsnährstand.
