The Prussian service awards were on June 18, 1825 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III. donated. (10th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. This service award was given to those officers who had served in the armed forces for 25 years. Years of war in Prussian service counted twice. After the military convention with Prussia, the service award for officers was also given in the allies States awarded. This award was awarded for almost 100 years. The last form has coarsely grained cross arms and is again slightly larger. From 1895, the service awards were no longer issued centrally but had to be procured by the army corps themselves. This led to a large number of manufacturers and differences in quality, size, weight and drawing details. The last form no longer has the manufacturer's identification.
