WWI Serbian Kingdom bravery medal
In an excellent condition a Miloš Obilić medal for bravery. With a nice silver patina.
This specific example is not numbered on the side or maker marked.
The medal was established in July 1913 by King
Peter I, this is the silver variant which was awarded during WWI.
Milos Obilic (Miloš Obilić), is a Serbian National
Hero, son-in-law of the medieval Serbian King
Lazar. He killed the invading Ottoman Sultan
Murad I in his tent on 15 June 1389 during the
Battle of Kosovo.
