WWII Australian P1907 bayonet
Very nice condition Pattern 1907 bayonet with frog.
Blade is very nicely blued with fuller, it has some minor pitting and aging. Various markings on the ricasso. manufacturing date September 1942. MA 1907 I, which means Made in Australia Pattern 1907 MKI . In July 1942 the production was moved to the Orange Arsenal. The otherside of the ricasso is marked by this factory OA. X is for the bending test. The arrow is the government acceptance mark.
Blade point is broken!
The pommel is marked C 66271 which would have been the same as the marking on the rifle
Leather British Scabbard is in very good condition. All stiches are in place and stamples are in order. With original canvas frog
