Chilean M1908 Police side arm (bayonet)

M1908 Yatagán Carabineros de Chile para la Policías Fiscales. This bayonet has been created from the blade, gross-guard and scabbard of the 1874 Chilean Gras bayonet.

A massive brass hilt with a beautiful Chilian crest REPUBLICA DE CHILI. Serial number A887 on the pommel. A t-shape blade and bright metal crossguard with muzzle ring and quillon.
The scabbard is shortened and bluedand has a massive brass fitting-end and a long brass frog stud.
