Kaiserreich Oldenburg Friedrich August Kreuz 2. Klasse
In an excellent condition a Grand Duchy of Oldenburg, a 2nd class Friedrich-August-Kreuz
The Friedrich-August-Kreuz was donated on September 24, 1914 by Grand Duke Friedrich August for officers, NCOs and men as well as other persons of the Grand Duchy and those who were closely related to the founder and his country, as a war award in two classes, whereby the second class could also be awarded to those who stayed at home - then on a ribbon in “wrong” colors. The design of the cross came from the Grand Duke's wing adjutant, Colonel von Jordan. Almost 55,000 awards can be proven for the second class on the band for fighters.
