Goldene Hochzeit from König Ludwig III 1918

King Ludwig III. von Bayern and his wife Marie Therese celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1918. The medal should actually be distributed to the troops of the Bavarian king for Christmas. However, the November Revolution in 1918 prevented the medal from being distributed and it was not rediscovered until 1922.
