In an excellent condition a remembrance pendant of the Light Column/Mountain Infantry Regiment 100

Frontside: A carbine armed soldier (usually the soldiers of this unit were supplying supplies) of the 100th Regiment of the 5th Mountain Infantry Division, leading under the bridles of a packed donkey along a mountain road against the backdrop of the mountains (Alps ). At the bottom is an inscription WESTALPEN, JTALIEN

Backside: the image of the emblem of the 5th Berg infantry division of the armed forces of the Wehrmacht, standing on the height of Mount Serna looking into the distance. Around the circumference, the date and the inscription in abbreviations in German LE. COL/B. Jag.Rgt.100. 1945 (full text in German; Leichte Kolonne/ Gebirgsjäger Regiment 100). At the bottom of the pendant is the image of the emblem of alpine archers - a flower of Edelweiss and two gentian flowers. The frame of the composition at the edge consists of twigs of spruce.‎
